  11. NOTE:  with the advent of chaos we recognise "noise" to be the unpredictability of determinstic but chaotic dynamics which either are a result:
  12. ‚Ä¢ of very high dimensional chaos which we cannot understand (e.g. fluid turbulence);
  13. or
  14. ‚Ä¢ of chaos which develops very rapidly (large Lyapunov exponent) when compared with the experimental time-scales (e.g.  throwing dice or tossing a coin).
